主人公を呼びだし、

アマテラスの討伐を依頼。



主人公は様々な情報をもとに

アマテラスの居所を突き止め、

その部下タケミカヅチと面会。



タケミカヅチの話によると、

アマテラスはアナトの呪いで姿を汚され

傷心のあまり猿山に隠れてしまったとか。



彼女の姿を戻すには伝説の神器が必要。

主人公はその神器探しを依頼される。



アナトとタケミカヅチ、

二人の言い分の違いに混乱する主人公。



迷ったあげく、

主人公はタケミカヅチを信じることに。

そして神器探しがスタート。



様々な情報から

神器は動物園地下の洞窟に

あることがわかる。



洞窟に入るには

不忍池の水を抜き

底の横穴から入らなければならない。



不忍池の水を操るという老犬ヌエを発見。

ネゴでうまく話をつけ、

池の水抜きを手伝ってもらうことに。



ヌエの話によると、

水を抜くには慰霊碑の鳥居を

ある法則に従ってくぐらねばならない。



その法則は分からないが、

ともかく慰霊碑をめざす主人公とヌエ。

and make Dark Tokyo her own...



Anat, the goddess of the Orient, hearing rumours

of this, summons the protagonist and implores them

to subjugate Amaterasu.



The protagonist uses a variety of information

to pin down the goddess's whereabouts, leading to

an encounter with her underling, Take-Mikazuchi.



According to Take-Mikazuchi, Amaterasu's form

was corrupted by Anat's curse, and in her grief,

she has hidden herself away in a hill in the monkey enclosure.



Only the sacred treasure of legend can restore her true form.

The protagonist is asked to search for this sacred treasure.



The discrepancy between Anat and Take-Mikazuchi's tales

plunges the protagonist into confusion.



Finally, they come to a decision:

They will place their trust in Take-Mikazuchi.

Thus begins the hunt for the sacred treasure.



Once again, the protagonist uses a variety of information

to ascertain the sacred treasure's whereabouts:

a cave under the zoo.



In order to access the cave,

one must breech the waters of Shinobazu Pond

and enter via a tunnel on the bottom.



The protagonist encounters Nue, an ancient dog

who controls the pond's waters. Through deft negotiation,

they secure its promise of assistance in navigating its depths.



According to the canid, in order to traverse the pond's waters,

it is necessary to pass through the torii gate monuments

in a certain order.



What this order might be remains a mystery,

but Nue and the protagonist make for the gates.

...Thus, the game begins...
