So very stubbly.

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Hmmm...

To do:
There are earlier versions of the evil characters' sprites presumably used in an unpatched disc (Wizzro's sprite for example, was a 1:1 copy of the LoZ1 Wizzrobe sprite). These might make for an obvious revisionary difference on this page.

Hyrule Warriors is a Hack n' Slash adventure from the minds who brought you Dynasty Warriors and Super Mario Bros! ...Also featuring special guest star Link from the Legend of Zelda series.

Unused Graphics

Darunia's Ocarina of Time Face

Inside Darunia's main texture file is an upscaled, slightly edited version of his original face from Ocarina of Time. It may have been used for reference, as a placeholder, or just to take up space.

Placeholder Portraits

Located alongside the mugshots and portraits for the playable characters are a few that were originally going to be reserved for Tingle. The text covering Link's face translates to Chinkuru (Temporary).

Unused Sounds

Zelda Singing Zelda's Lullaby

Zelda's sound effects contain an interesting oddity: one unused sound is of her singing the tune of "Zelda's Lullaby".

This was likely a victory animation sound. Two things hint at this: One, the sound is located with Zelda's other victory animation sounds, and two, the length of the soundbyte itself is much longer than most attack voice effects.

A while back, you could use a glitch to trick the game into allowing you to wield Lana's Summoning Gate as Princess Zelda. Zelda would use this sound whenever she did an attack that involves Lana humming. The glitch has since been patched, rendering the sound unable to be heard in normal gameplay.
