I found a spooky ghost

Whilst experimenting with walking through walls by way of a hex editor in memory, I came across a screen transition that might have displayed an unused image of a ghost.

This occurs when you start the game, head two screens to the right, walk down the staircase into the tunnel, and head upwards through the water (Collision data is on 0x0300 - 0x037F). You'll transition to a screen with an overhead view which changes your character's sprite, but for a moment during the transition, you'll see your character become a ghost. I grew up with this game and never recalled seeing this sprite anywhere. Was it unused? (This was found in version 6.1) Ohnoitschrist (talk) 01:07, 11 January 2019 (EST)
