Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey |
---|
Developer: This game has unused graphics. |
To do: Dummy and placeholder demons (I say placeholder because they appear to correspond with all the demons (and humans) that you talk to out of battle), with corresponding sources. There's also a bunch of unused and dummy items. |
Go on a Strange Journey to Antarctica and attempt to save the world from the Schwarzwelt.
Unused Graphics
Placeholder sprite images for demons. The red and green sections of each are intended to be transparency. The larger size of the second sprite is mostly only used for bosses.
A dummy image for character and demon sprites.

この画像はダミーです 画面に出ていた場合は報告お願いします。 | This is a dummy image. If this happens to appear on-screen, please file a report. |
A dummy image for Demonica conversation portraits. It says the same thing as the sprite dummy image.
A Demonica portrait of... Daleth. His first and only appearance in the Shin Megami Tensei series was Shin Megami Tensei II. The text on the top left says "Three Wise Men". The Three Wise Men are a group of unidentified individuals integral to the plot of Strange Journey.
A placeholder image for visual effects named "zdummy".

Pixie's design from Soul Hackers was left in the game.

Moloch's design from Shin Megami Tensei: NINE was also left in the game.
Demon Negotiation Debug Menu
To do: Document the sub-menu options in detail. |
This debug menu can be enabled by pressing L + Start during a battle, and then entering the demon chat menu option. Additionally, the menu can be disabled by pressing R + Start. The menu seems to only be accessible in the Japanese release of Strange Journey.
The following PAR code will make the menu accessible through the L + Start button combo:
