Hmmm...

To do:

  • more unused content.source:https://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_Game_%26_Wario_pre-release_and_unused_content

  • Look for more unused audio. There are 6 dog sounds in wav, only 2 aren't raw.

  • Investigate the Patchwork (Puzzle) minigame.

  • There is a folder called Import in content. Investigate that.

  • Look inside the Japanese PHYSICAL version for anything.

Game & Wario is notably different from previous WarioWare installments, as microgames aren't the main focus.

Unused Music

test0

stream/test0.bfwav is a long, repetitive drum beat.

py_amb_last1

This ambient music appears to be for when you reach the final phase in Bird.

Unused Sounds

Unused

This voice clip is of the Adventure King stating exactly what this voice clip is. Found in content/Sound/userManagementFiles/GROUP_SP.bfgrp.

Demo Leftovers

Leftovers for the European kiosk demo exist in the folder DemoEU. Similarly, DemoUS is present in the North American release but is completely empty.

Internal Game Names

All of the games are nicknamed differently then what is seen in-game. Only Arrow and Ski are consistent.

Internal In-game

Empty Directories

A few empty folders are present in content. These folders consist of _dev, _Viewer, Story, and Test; with Test having the most to offer. There is also an empty folder named _original in CommonMsgUS_$LANG$. The strange thing about these folders is they only exist in the physical release and not the digital release.

Obscured Screenshots

G&W Obscuredshot1.pngG&W Obscuredshot2.pngG&W Obscuredshot3.png

These three screenshots used for the minigame tip cards all share a similar oddity: they're all unaltered due to the fact the minigame tip card's front graphic obscures their borders.

Internal Project Name

Game & Wario is referred to as Slate. This is likely because of the game taking advantage of the Wii U GamePad's features. The game also contains "slate"-like objects for each of its minigames. The internal name may also be reflected in the game's two-letter code "SA" (Slate).
