The game that introduced the lovable Louies and the translation nightmare Bagura/Bagular/Buggler/Buglear/argh. A downgraded version was released on the Genesis/Mega Drive outside Japan.

Westone's Genesis port was pretty faithful to the original, but was hampered by laziness in some areas (mainly the colors and special effects).

It is unknown if the debug menu is still accessible or even functional. The Sound Mode can be accessed via the aforementioned button code, but the Boss Room and Stage Select have no known method of access.
