Modelli durante una sfilata
Un modello (modella al femminile) è la persona che un artista ritrae nella creazione della propria opera figurativa e, più in particolare, colui che per professione posa a favore di uno scultore o di un pittore.
Nel campo della fotografia è in uso il termine fotomodello, mentre il professionista che sfili in specifiche occasioni per mostrare al pubblico abiti e accessori di moda è chiamato indossatore.
