Projective Curve
$begingroup$
Let X be a d-degree curve contained in P2 (Projective), I have to prove that it does not exist any point with multiplicity greater or equal to d. And then they ask me to prove that if X has a point with multiplicity (d-1) then X is rational. How can I prove this? Thank you!
PS. Sorry for my english

Welcome to MSE. This looks a lot like a homework assignment. You should show us what you've tried and where you're stuck. For one thing, we have no idea what tools you have to use and what you know how to do.
