Debug Menu

I'm not David Perry, but can I still have a wish? Pretty please??

Freezeability off? But this old cart still locks up! :(

On the options screen, enter the following button command: A, C, A, C, A, C, A, C, B, B, B, B. Programmer David Perry's face will pop up to greet you, and the debug screen will appear.

Menu item
Effect
CHEAT MODE
Enables invincibility.
START ON LEVEL
Use A and B to select a level, then press Start to begin.
FREEZEABILITY
Makes the game freeze when Start is held.
MAP VIEW MODE
Use the control pad to move the camera around the level. It's as if Aladdin is still on that spot, as far as the enemy AI and level triggers are concerned.

Win a Bonus

The "Win a Bonus" jingle plays when you win a bonus on the bonus game. This only plays for around 1 second, and slightly longer if it's the last roll on that bonus game session. If you listen to it in the sound test, or if you freeze the game with freezeability, you'll notice that the jingle actually lasts for around 8 seconds, needlessly.
