Super Disc Boot ROM
Super Disc Boot ROM
Super Disc Boot ROM |

Developer: This game has hidden developer credits. |
This game was never completed and/or given a public release. As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually reached store shelves. |
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article? |
The Super Disc Boot ROM would have been required to boot disc-based games on the ill-fated Nintendo Play Station, and came in the form of a separate cartridge that would have plugged into the console's cartridge slot. The fact that there is only one known working unit in existence makes this little more than a curiosity.
And now that the Super Disc prototype is finally working (HOORAY!!!), all that's needed is someone that can reverse-engineer it so that proper emulation of the Super NES CD add-on can happen.
