Unused Ordinal Indicators
Presumably originally used to show ranking in the result screen (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.), but it uses #1, #2, #3, etc. instead.

Saving and Loading
In the Japanese version, players can save and load courses they made with the Famicom Data Recorder, which uses audio cassettes to do so. However, since the device was never released outside of Japan, neither of these work on other versions. Both options still have their programming fully intact and function as intended if this device were present. The loading and saving system was added to the 3DS 3D Classics version, allowing overseas players to save and load courses as intended.
